The next-generation MUTT XM delivers eXpanded Mobility to Army formations via increased power generation, payload capacity and ground speed.
Leveraging proven electronic architecture and mobility technologies fielded in the U.S. Army’s Small Multipurpose Equipment Transport (S-MET), MUTT XM delivers expanded capability to Army formations where it counts!
Lethality
- Greater than 3,500 pounds of payload means more options for battlefield commanders
- The General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GDOTS) XM915 3-barrel 20mm gatling gun provides critical CUAS capability when coupled with a remotely operated weapons station and connected to battle management software systems
- A host of lethal payloads, up to 30x113mm, provides unmatched capability and flexibility in deployment strategies
Mobility
- MUTT XM employs a relocated propulsion unit for better weight distribution and vehicle balance
- A more-powerful primary drive motor and larger-diameter wheels increase ground clearance for better off-road performance and increased top speed
- Maximum speed 25 mph
Survivability
- Offset operation keeps Soldiers safely away from direct engagements
- Electrical components (including e-drive, control electronics and autonomy hardware stack) and the composite hull were designed to operate in challenging EMI environments
- Hull and component designs meet MIL-STD-810 to survive both natural and induced environments, such as basic hot and cold weather, sand, dust, rain and snow, as well as shock and vibration
Mission
- Ideally suited for a wide range of roles to enhance and enable combat, combat support and combat service support
- MUTT XM delivers the power and payload capacity to deploy direct effects, indirect effects and a host of other missions that keep Soldiers safely away from dangerous activities
- With optionally available autonomy, MUTT XM can provide assured overwatch missions, execute logistic resupply, conduct CASEVAC and more
